Special Education Director

Lisa has dedicated 28 years to the field of education, specializing in Special Education. She earned her bachelor's degree in Special Education from Eastern Illinois University in 1998 and began her career at Villa Grove Elementary School. She later served as a Special Education Resource teacher at Rantoul City Schools from 1999 to 2005.

Before joining Rantoul Township High School, Lisa taught at PBL High School, where she developed and established the Functional Life Skills Special Education program. She earned her master's degree as a Learning Behavior Specialist in Multiple Disabilities from the University of Illinois in 2012 and completed her Director of Special Education endorsement there in 2016.

In the summer of 2026, Lisa joined Rantoul Township High School as the Director of Special Education. She is committed to supporting students, families, and staff while ensuring all students have access to meaningful educational opportunities.

Lisa lives in Paxton with her husband, Scott. They have two adult children, Seth and Lyndi.
