Student Council

Club Description:  

The Student Council ("StuCo") are students who wish to lead the school in both social and community activities. Students become members at the beginning of the year through an application process. Executive Board members for StuCo are elected in the spring by the student body for the following school year. This organization represents the RTHS student body within the school, Rantoul, Kickapoo District, and the state. In addition, the StuCo sponsors many social activities throughout the school year such as Homecoming, Spirit Weeks for various causes, district events, community events, and more! Each year, members also have the opportunity to attend the IASC (Illinois Association of Student Councils) State Convention based on attendance and involvement throughout the year.
