Academic Honesty
Academic Honesty: Please refer to pages 46-47 in the RTHS student handbook.
Plagiarism/cheating means using someone else’s work as if it were your own. This includes copying or buying work on the internet, copying work from another student/classmate, or combining work from different sources (i.e. digital or paper).
Use of AI (Artificial Intelligence): You are not permitted to use AI in any way to outline, create, complete, or submit your work for assignments, essays, written reflections, tests/quizzes, projects, etc.
The following procedures will happen if a student is found plagiarizing/cheating and/or misusing AI:
The student will receive a “0” or “NA” on the assignment.
The student will be given the opportunity to redo the assignment with the teacher in person.
Parents/guardians and administration will be notified.
